WHO WE ARE
Meet Joe
I’ve been tiling for 20 years. 10 years in the UK and 10 years in Australia.
I’ve always been trying different things for dust extraction. I’ve found all the dust shrouds make your grinder awkward to hold and sometimes you have to turn your grinder over so the dust goes up ( found these useless). Then there is the wet cutters that cut well but create a huge mess in the work area and soak the tiles.
I’ve been getting worried about the dust with all the information about silicosis and concerned for my health.
Then there is the tidy up from all the grinding which isn’t fun for you or the client.
The JoeyBoardz have been amazing, as you can use your own grinder that you like and your own vacuum for the dust extraction. So it’s just one more thing for setup and the clean up is easy.
OUR STORY
How do we reduce dust?
Once the vacuum is attached and your tile is in place. Start your grinder and cut the tile into the cut line on the board, the vacuum will pull the dust through the chamber into your vacuum and reduce the dust dramatically as you continue the straight cut.
